In a recent discussion organized by Mohanlal fans at X, the actor himself urged fans not to perceive “Malaikottai Vaaliban” solely as a mass film. Emphasizing the film’s classiness brought by Lijo Jose Pellissery, Mohanlal highlighted its unique portrayal of a magician. He urged viewers to approach the film with these nuances in mind, suggesting that it goes beyond conventional mass entertainment.
The first screenings of the film are scheduled to commence today at 6:30 am in Kerala, following a pre-booking period that started six days before the release. Industry insiders are optimistic that the film’s merits will be reflected in its opening collection, with hopes that “Malaikottai Vaaliban” will achieve one of the best-ever opening collections in Malayalam cinema.
Produced by Shibu Baby John’s John and Mary Creative in collaboration with Max Lab Cinemas and Century Films, this marks the debut collaboration between Lijo Jose Pellissery and Mohanlal. The film boasts a diverse cast, including Marathi actress Sonali Kulkarni, Harish Peradi, Hariprasanth Varma, Manikanthan Achari, Suchitra Nair, Manoj Moses, and Bengali actress Katha Nandi.
