Covering an expansive 750,000 square feet, Jio World Plaza presents 66 internationally acclaimed brands. This grand opening spotlights elite names like Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Burberry, Valentino, Dior, Balenciaga, Rolex, Bottega Veneta, Cartier, Bulgari, Jimmy Choo, and numerous others. Dior is set to unveil its inaugural menswear boutique at Jio World Plaza, while the mall will also be home to Louis Vuitton’s grand new flagship store, poised to become India’s largest international luxury destination. Surprising Rental Information
Being situated in Jio World Plaza entails significant costs, thanks to the property owner, Reliance Industries, who imposes steep rental fees. To illustrate, Louis Vuitton is set to shell out a monthly rent of Rs 40.50 lakh for its premises, and Dior will be paying a substantial sum of Rs 21.56 lakh for a 3,317 sq ft area. Moreover, luxury brands, as per Reuters, will also allocate a percentage of their monthly revenues to Reliance, with contributions varying from 4% to 12% of their total earnings.
Opening Ceremony
The splendid commencement commenced with a mesmerizing fashion presentation titled “The Dawn of Fashion Trends,” with eight models displaying the most recent styles. Renowned designers such as Manish Malhotra, Falguni Shane Peacock, Abu Jani Mishra, Satya Paul, Ri by Ritu Kumar, were among those participating, with celebrity guests including Janhvi Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, and Sara Ali Khan, who represented their own brands.
