Kuzhuppilly Beach
It is a virgin beach located at a distance of 3.5 km from Cherai beach, Kochi, Kerala. The road to Kuzhuppilly beach, the virgin shore of Kochi is enigmatic with lake on both sides. The islands on each side are dotted with small houses. It is extended from one end of the village to the other end. This beautiful and calm place is not yet discovered by even the Kochiites.  There are specific arrangements done here for tourists who are yet to know about this virgin shore. There are umbrellas arranged here for people to relax and enjoy the dreamy place. The entrance to the place is designed naturally with bamboo.
How to get Kuzhuppilly Beach
The Kuzhuppilly beach is located at a distance of 18km from Kochi. You should turn right from the Goshree junction and then head towards Pallathan Kulangara Bhagavati temple. Then you can turn left to the Kuzhuppilly beach road. If you are travelling in a bus, then catch the bus to Cherai. Get down at Pallathan Kulangara Bhagavati temple. An auto from this stop will take you to the much awaited place.
Puthuvype Beach
It is situated near the Puthuvype lighthouse. The beach has a length of about 3 km. it is one of the least explored beaches of Kochi. Tourists have not yet discovered this magnificent place. It is located at Puthuvype. Via Goshree bridges, you can drive towards Puthuvype junction. Deviate to left from the junction. The beach is at a distance of 2km on this road.
Puthenthode Beach
It is a newly formed beach near Kannamaly. It extends to only about half kilometer. It is least visited by travelers. But it is noted for its cleanliness and calmness.
How to get Puthenthode Beach
From Ernakulam railway station (south) take a bus to Thoppumpady and proceed through Kannamaly. Alight at the Puthenthode bus stop. The beach is near to the stop. It is at a distance of 10 km from Thoppumpady.
Munambam Beach
It is located at 4km north to Cherai beach. It is the end point of Cherai. A beautiful walkway is the main attraction of the Munambam beach that faces the vast sea. On the left side of the walkway there is a beautiful shore. On the other side of the walkway the blend of lake and sea is a visual treat. There are Chinese fishing nets, the signature sight of Kochi on both sides. There are lights established from one end of the walkway to the other. There is a playground for kids adjacent to the beach. It is now popularly known as Muziris beach.
How to reach Munambam Beach
Head towards Munambam from Kochi city. You can get down at IR Valvu stop. Then you can turn left from there. The Munambam beach is at a distance of 500m from this stop.
Cherai Beach
It is a magnificent beach situated near the Kochi city. Over the years, it has been modified into a well arranged modern beach. There is a walkway parallel to the beach beautified with tiles. Children can fly kites here. There are fine hotels and resorts near the place. The beach carnival which occurs here every year is a great sight to watch. We can see families and youth enjoying the beauty of the area. It is a beach known to most of the travelers.
How to get Cherai Beach
It is at a distance of 24 km from the Cochin city. Head towards the Goshree junction. Turn right from the Goshree junction and head towards Cherai junction. Turn left to Cherai beach road. The beach is at a distance of 2 km from the road.
